North Austin MUD #1 includes some of the nicest parks and amenities in the Austin area. Theseinclude Rattan Creek and Robinson Parks and an extensive network of hike and bike trails and nature areas in the various greenbelts located throughout the district. 

Rattan Creek Park
Rattan Park is located at the intersection of Tamayo Dr. and Elkhorn Mountain Trail. This park includes a junior Olympic swimming pool, 4 tennis courts, a basketball court, a sand volleyball court, a soccer field and a variety of playscapes for toddlers through adults. The park also includes numerous benches and permanent barbeque pits as well as two covered pavilions available for private parties. District residents may reserve pavilions by using the link on the right.

Hike & Bike Trails
There are two major hike and bike trails located in the district. Both trails originate and wind throughout the two parks. The trail originating in Rattan park also extends out into the greenbelt running initially along the northern side of Rattan creek heading east towards Parmer Lane.

Athletic Field Reservation
Both Robinson Park and Rattan Creek Park have soccer fields that can be reserved for team practices. To reserve Robinson Park or Rattan Creek Park soccer fields simply email Dave Peterson at     longhornpeterson@yahoo.com  , your reservation will be processed after 6:00PM CST/CDT, and Dave will assist you in making a field reservation. If you are a new member, you will be asked to provide basic contact information prior to making a field reservation.
